mind , that you should avoid default cache settings (= O_DIRECT) with qemu/kvm VMs on top of mdraid (containers are fine), otherwise you will risk inconsistencies in the raid, as mirror can silently break with directio writes going wrong. this... -

Hi, Well, if you use the enterprise license, that is not the question, since you have access to enterprise PDM, and NO community license is not an enterprise license. From my POV the community license is here to help pay for the IT...

AIf it's a standalone Proxmox node it's fairy simple. Update /etc/hosts and if you use dns search /etc/resolv.conf.

No backups in PVE are incremental, they are all full. However PBS stores only one copy of each chunk of duplicate data, across all VMs.

JYes, you can use the Override Notification Templates feature (added in Proxmox VE 8.4). See this thread for some more info.
