Hy zusammen.
Seit ca. 2 Wochen kann ich kein Backup mehr auf den Proxmox Backup Server machen, es schlägt immer wieder fehl mit der Meldung:
ERROR: backup write data failed: command error: write_data upload error: pipelined request failed...
Hello everyone!
For my personal needs, I create an Spice client specifically for Proxmox VE and I'd love to share it with you all.
However, I'm not a professional developer, but a product designer.
The entire app is build by AI, so I may lack...
Does journalctl -b -1 -e after the spontaneous reboot give anything of interest? Google says the 0xE code indicates a power cycle trigger by software. Which watchdog are you using in Proxmox? I'm using softdog. I started looking at sp5100_tco but...
I now did the same successfully with a raidz2 pool made of 8 disks with 14 TB, adding a ninth one with 16 TB (just because 14 TB drives were more expensive).
After the expansion step (i.e. "zpool attach", which took about 1.5 days to complete)...
Welcome, @dtreth
I don't know why it hangs. I'm just thinking out loudly how to bypass the issue...
I would log in to the VM by other means (e.g., ssh) and inspect the situation when the console is hung.
Then maybe restart getty (or whatever is...
Hi Marcel,
Hello,
You have too many restart attempts for the systemd service associated to such OSD, please run
systemctl reset-failed
If the OSD does not start working after that, you could try to restart the OSD service again. Should that fail, restart...
So, I have found out that I am a slight bit foolish... I had not realised that when it comes to a servers MB, it isn't exactly happy with you utilising it's MGMT lan port for the proxmox, I hooked up a second ethernet cable in one of it's four...

1Gig switches for the primary network, completely separate 1gig switch for corosync. I binned all my Cisco switches after a house move, big, heavy, noisy, power hungry. Two Cisco's use more power than my entire setup. 1gig is fine, ZFS I just...
Fourth device is another Mac Mini, but older and less memory, ZFS is something I am starting to explore - the replication feature is 'desirable' based on the possibility of needing to maintain some services.
If I was to go 10gig I'd need...
Comment your "options" line with # in front and it should mount, "mountport" prevent the mount.
Btw. you need "/proxmox" no_root_squash exported otherwise the content line couldn't work.

I'm not sure I understand what you want to achieve. You could installProxmoxVE and ProxmoxBackupServer baremetal on the node and afterwards add it to the cluster but I wouldn't do this: Since every cluster member can login via ssh to the other...
So I followed this guide: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Serial_Terminal for setting up a terminal system on my VM because I like the xterm.js for the containers a lot, and I even installed the xterm tools to make it resize and whatnot. It works...
One important point though: aaron doesn't run PBS as a VM or container. Instead it's installed on an existing PVE so it will still work if ProxmoxVE fails for whatever reason...
