"probe of 0000:XY:00.0 failed with error -5" error is not specific to the NIC in question. It plagues many NICs (i350-T4 and Chelsio 10Gb/1Gb cards come to mind immediately, probably many other are affected too) with recent Ubuntu-derived...
Hi,
moving the disk without deleting the source will result in two disks. The copy of the original located on the NFS storage and the original one, remaining on local-lvm, the new disk will be attached to the VM and the old one marked as unused...
Yep this is the same adapter i have.
Hmm so when you downgrade the kernel, does the card work properly with the atlantic driver?
Getting the marvell driver to work isn't easy, there's a github issue about it here...

Migrating VMs from VMware to Proxmox, the “output file is smaller than input file” error usually happens when qemu-img tries to write to storage that doesn’t support sparse files or thin provisioning properly or when the target storage format or...
Ok, so if I go ahead and remove this from the cluster and wipe it/reinstall proxmox and want to extend the correct partition across the 3 drives, which partition would I do that with-- and should I just leave some small amount unused for any...
This is not enough information.
Given that you are using Pure and their support is known to be very good, perhaps you should reach out to them for help.
Here is a list of things that you need to minimally provide so that forum volunteers can...
Hi,
thank you for the reports! I can reproduce the issue here. When the disk size is 15000 GiB it still works, with 17000 GiB it fails, so likely 16 TiB is where it gets problematic. We use qemu-img measure to calculate the size of the underlying...

wir können nur aus der glaskugel lesen.
gib infos. welche hardware, welches netzwerk, welche software, welche protokolle.
dazu noch pve-version und verwendeter kernel und die einstellungen beider VM's...
Hello and thanks for your reply.
I hear that too, one person on youtube apparently debunked this (for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7V3kmJDHTA ) but the common knowledge remains: ZFS kills SSD... I can't quite explain this, hard...
Btw: A new core update for the IPfire is available since today. It is using Linux kernel 6.18 LTS. I'll give it a try on the second VM (104) and see if it helps....

Jörg
I got the same problem, a random crash around 2 hours without any error logs on my Hetzner server. Already replaced all hardware, still the same. No crash dump or journal logo_O
Hello Fiona,
I've activated IO Thread for the disk and configured VirtIO SCSI single as machines controller now for both affected VMs. Let's see if something changes...
Thanks and regards,

LXCs are different than Docker images. To the OP, you can use standard Debian commands (apt) in an LXC to update to the new version of PHP. But I am not sure if what you need is in the backports repo or some other 3rd party repo.
But, honestly...
Hello and thanks for your reply, is there a real advantage though? Over tuned ZVOL I mean, I see that WAF could be severely reduced by turning some knobs in ZVOL config, is that true? Because it mostly comes from (I suspect) AI generated...
