Looks like the path to find it is as follows: {PVE Host} --> VMNets --> {Zone} then select the your VNet on the right under content and then add permission on the right. Thanks guys for you help! JTo make it PVE related: if the NIC runs under Debian it will probably work with Proxmox. Create a corresponding bridge, add that VM, install virtio drivers and... call it a day. Disclaimer: have have zero Mellanox experience...

Fhow much network bandwith do you have ? it's possible to speedup transfert by disabling ssh tunnel, edit /etc/pve/datacenter.cfg migration: insecure I don't think it's possible, you need to stop/migrate/start manually.
