It is worth to note that KSM only kicks in when more than 80 % of the system RAM is actually in use. (Default setting.)

Thanks all.
I will test zswap now, in some week.
Zram was not succesfull for me (some instabilities, and they disappear after unstallation of zram). And I saw this : https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/how-to-configure-zram-on-zfs.151747/

Ultimately, I think it all came down to a cabling issue. Well.. not really a cable, though, but rather the patch panel coupler.
After replacing it, there have been no more disconnections for about two days.
If it happens to disconnect again...
Nothing specific in there, might be a driver issue, though.
You could try something like this and test if it helps. The first should disable energy saving modes and the second disables hardware offloading.
ethtool --set-eee enp2s0 eee off
ethtool...
I find that it varies. I think discord is fine for simple tech support. If someone asks "how do I change my DNS server", and you just reply "edit /etc/resolv.conf" - that's a lot faster than making a whole forum post. Lots of community use...

Discord are best for just chatting away I agree. But I'm not convinced that discord (or any chat tool) is a good format for tech support for all the reasons outlined by others here (not-searchable from outside, difficult to reference...) So I...
Adding to this in case someone finds themselves here from Google
When you are setting BIOS to UEFI and the wizard prompts you to create an EFI disk, do NOT check "Pre-enroll keys", since that uses MS's CA keys that only work for Windows

This isn't about zswap though, zswap and zram (although they serve a related but not completely identical usecase) are actually quite different things as explained in the references from Impact.
The most relevant difference is that zswap...
It's not PVE specific. Just add zswap.enabled=1 to the kernel args or set the prop via a cronjob at boot or a service or however else you prefer.

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe verschiedene Aussagen gefunden. Ist dies im Cluster bei Pool pro node zulässig?
storage.cfg
zfspool: zfsstorage
content images,rootdir
pool zfsdata

I think both the forum and chat have their merits. Some things are just easier and faster to resolve via chat and I prefer the formatting. On the other hand the forums are a good (and official) research source and I often link to it.

Oh man. I spent my time on IRC. Years before Discord was a thing.
I just found it a pain:
It was annoying to deal with the limited nature of bouncers (a single point of failure, since you can't cluster them or otherwise configure them for high...
Try to look into the wiki: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Zram ;-)
Edit: that page seems to over-complicating things. For me the single command apt install zram-tools was sufficient. That gave me:
~# zramctl
