ZFS Rescue Boot on HBA not working

Hi,

I am running a HP P420 in HBA/IT Mode.
Even I cannot boot from it, I am also not able to use the Rescue Boot from the Installation Media.
The Disks aren´t even Blinking on boot.

Is there a way to Rescue Boot from a HBA?

Does your HBA shows disks? Can you boot from cdrom/usb/(disk attached to motherboard)?

I can Install PVE on HBA, but i can´t boot becaus of limitations of the HBA.
The Question is why the Rescue Boot Feature from the Installation Media does not see the HBA

Out of my experience with a P420i I can say that it is not possible to boot from it if in HBA mode as the disks are just not "visible" during that stage during booting. No idea what HP has done there in the firmware.

Possible ways to proceed:

1. install Proxmox on other disks, connected to the SATA controller for example
2. get a real HBA as apparently the HBA mode in the P420 is kinda broken
