I moved from using CEPH to ZFS on one of my proxmox installs and noticed that the mount point (/datapool in my case) is completely open to unprivileged users. As a non-root user I can go into /datapool/subvol-xxx-disk-0/ and read any files I want (that have the 'everyone' bit set, ie: 644, 755, etc.
Is this normal behaviour? With CEPH there seemed to be a bit of protection to allow anyone but root or someone with permissions to use proxmox.
Thanks.
