Hi,

Not my installation, it's one installation done by a datacenter tech.
The proxmox 8 was working as expected.
I tried to migrate to 9.0.5 today like other proxmox I have in other DC (but which I have installed myself remotely, they mostly upgraded fine but that's for another thread), and there are conflicts all over the place. The solutions I might have found in the forum from previous years does not seem to work. Like rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*

Here are the output of the conflicted packages:
Any advice ?

Attachments

Code:
root@pve10:/var/lib/apt# apt remove linux-image-amd64
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package 'linux-image-amd64' is not installed, so not removed
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  proxmox-kernel-6.8.12-11-pve-signed
Use 'apt autoremove' to remove it.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 834 not upgraded.

I have my doubt that proxmox has been installed on top of iso bookworm, but that's just a guess and this is because of the bookworm debian ISO listed in apt in the web UI....
[A FEW MOMENTS LATER]

You have put me on the right direction...
While watching at the update, indeed the pve repo were put in another file which was of course then not modified with the keyword trixie. /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-install-repo.list

So thank you for that sir! You put me in the right direction and have dismissed one of my 10 problems today.

migration is on the way.
