I just installed Proxmox VE on a new server.
I only have two VM's installed,
- one running ESXI to get things back up and running from my past ESXI Server.
- and one running Windows XP for a Legacy need to run DOS.
Inside the XP VM Processor Usage is nearly 0. But in the Hypervisor it is 90% +.
I have tried to install any Vertio drivers I could and did some research on this issue but haven't been able to come up with anything.
Server Hardware is...
Asus Z690
1 x 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K
128 GB of RAM
The problem is visible by looking at the Windows XP (pve) screenshot in comparison to the XP Performance screenshot.
The ESXI Screen shot is only for reference that it is running multiple VM's and has very little CPU Usage.
BTW I am a total newb to Proxmox so please take it easy on me.
And please no stuff about how I shouldn't be running XP it just suits the need.
Thanks in advanced.
