Check vm network - you need bridge with vmbr0 on your vm, also check firewall.

Hi Nezdeshnly,

can you help me how to create bridge with vmbr0 on my vm? my firewall is already off.

Thank you

Turn off vm, go to vm settings - hardware, check network device, you need something like bridge=vmbr0, if not delete network device and then make new - add - network device - bridge with vmbr0. also check the name of the network card in node settings - network.

Hi Nezdeshlyn,

I deleted my existing ethernet device. then add a new one > bridge=vmbr0; vlan tag=no VLAN; Model=intelE1000.

also, how do i check for the name of the network card in node settings?
on web config under hardware of my win7
Network Device(net0) e1000=macadd, bridge=vmbr0

on proxmox command line under /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static
address XXX.XXX.210.47
netmask 255.255.255.192
gateway XXX.XXX.210.2
bridge_ports eth0
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0

Thank you
