WiFi internet connection on the host

Hello.

I'm using Proxmox 9.0.18.

I need a WiFi internet connection on the host (not providing a WiFi device to the VM).

The WiFi device (USB Stick) is well recognized by the OS.

I considered installing Network Manager, but I heard it conflicts with Proxmox.

I'd like some advice on how to turn WiFi on/off, scan for wireless SSIDs, and connect to them on the Proxmox host.

Hey,

you'll need wpa_supplicant[1], then you should be able to use the NIC like you would a wired one.
You are probably aware of this, but a wired connection is highly recommended, just mentioning it here for others who may stumble upon this thread.
