I am working to launch a VPS provider using WHMCS and the Proxmox VPS for WHMCS module.
My customers will be able to create backups of their VMs and one feature I know they expect is the ability to download their backup files.
After researching for a way to download Proxmox backup files via HTTP, I came across the thread below that says "this is a big security risk", but the reason why isn't explained and is still unclear to me.
Could someone kindly explain to me what this risk is?
Is there any other way for me to implement a feature like this?
