I would like to use ProxMox backup server on two different clusters. The only way I can see doing this is with two different datastores which at this point is kind of hokey. Is there a better way of doing this?
for now, two different datastores is the way to go (you can put them on the same disk, just not the same directory).
a namespacing feature that allows sharing the underlying chunk store (for improved deduplication, cross-namespace operations like prune, verify, GC) but keeping the indices separate (to avoid name conflicts) is in the works.
