Hi Proxmox staff,

I have a question about mounted storage. I have a NAS running a share for NFS4. When mounting that in Proxmox VE (7.4-3), it looks like this after a while;
1682545806759.png From the beginning it looked different, had a square beside it showing how much space etc.

What makes Proxmox VE show a question-mark? Please be specifics, I would like to be rid of it for good. Thank you.

Well, yes ordinarily. I forgot to mention that it is in fact accessible and as far as I can tell working well, even though PVE thinks differently. I just hope it doesn't mean something will break or fail again. I've had my share for a while now... :)

So what I meant with this was more along the lines, is this "normal", or considered a bug, or can it be corrected somehow...

A thought I just got is, can hibernation of the NAS be the cause of this perhaps? But feels a little far-fetched, doesn't it?

Every couple seconds PVE will poll all NFS/SMB shares and check if they are still available. If not PVe will complain. So yes, hibernation could be the problem.

Great, seems harmless then, thanks. But does that poll stop when hibernation occurs? Or should it reset the icon when NAS is back online?
