What does "Invalid: subscription info too old" error mean?

I've just (today) started getting a new error when I log in to a PVE console on a system that *is* licesnsed (or at least it was yesterday???).
I get the usual nagware screen, and when I look at the Subscription tab, I see: "Invalid: subscription info too old".
What does this mean, and what do I need to do about it?
Thanks,

Found it. That server was pointing to a DNS server that no longer exists, so it thought "shop.maurer-it.com" didn't exist.
This, however, does mean that I cannot run PVE in an isolated environment (i.e. no internet access) and have licenses function???
I'm OK with the nagware screen (you deserve to make a living from the excellent work you do), but I am much more disturbed by the undocumented 'phone home' behaviour.

If you have no internet access you cannot use the online update feature.

But you can use the system without any other limits as only the update feature is not working if your subscription key is not active and as you have no internet, online update cannot work anyways :-)

Subscription keys are validated against the shop system (every few weeks there is a check, the result is cached). If a key is canceled (e.g. why the invoice is not paid), the service is stopped.

All this works automatically, otherwise its impossible to offer services for € 4.16 per month. If you need more info, please contact our distributor via http://shop.maurer-it.com/contact.php

*sigh* This particular server no longer has internet access. I'll admit that 50% of the reason I bought the license was to get rid of the nag screen. (The other 50% is that the product is worth the small amount of $$.)
Where do I configure PVE to use an HTTP proxy?

[Never mind - I just found it.]

<non-technical stuff:>
It would seem reasonable (to me) that if a server has ever been activated, the nag screen should go away permanently.

Of course, I also think forcing users to click "OK" is what caused the big argument over licensing... a big red bar on every screen say "this server isn't licensed" would probably have been far more acceptable - simply because one wouldn't have to *click* an OK button. That's basic Consumer Psychology, at least in North America. On the other hand, it might not have had the same impact as the !@#$%^!!! dialog box does... Modal dialog boxes are evil, generally speaking... I don't like them elsewhere in the GUI, either.

Oh, well, that's my opinion, and you can take it or leave it.
