I've been scouring the internet for the CLI command that initializes the proxmox admin menu -- the one that has numbered options that you can select for various tasks. I haven't used my proxmox box in a while and forgot the command..

I've done a ton of google searches and also pulled up the administration guide PDF and couldn't find it!

Can anyone help?

Could it be that you are using a 3rd party tool to do such stuff

something like https://github.com/Corsinvest/cv4pve-cli ?
Sorry, I just realized I am mistaken. I am thinking about the menu for pfSense which is a firewall lol... I got confused because running the Proxmox type 1 hypervisor it boots up to a command line and so does pfSense... Anyway I resolved my issue as it was related to a network setting on my router (VLAN). Thanks!
