Web GUI for VM 'Summary' not scaling?

So... new user here. I noticed that for some reason when I wanted to look at the charts on the 'Summary' section for a given VM, I can't seem to scroll down or see all the chart on the default zoom of 110% on my Chromebook. I had to keep reducing the zoom down to 70-75% before I could see all the graphs and axis for the graphs - there never was any scrolling in that 'pane'.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here, or is this a known, existing 'feature'/bug? Or is there somewhere I should file a ticket about this sort of thing?

Does it work in the node summary? Does Chromebook imply that you're using Chrome (I don't have one)? If yes, which version exactly?

Actually, no, it doesn't work in the node summary either.

Yes, Chrome is the only browser option on a Chromebook (though sometimes I wish it had other options). Currently showing 'Version 88.0.4324.186 (Official Build) (64-bit)'.

Fired up my gaming laptop (Windows 10), and opened up Firefox, Edge, and Chrome and it seems to work fine in those:

Firefox (version 86.0 64-bit):

Edge (version 89.0.774.45 (Official build) (64-bit)):

Chrome (version 88.0.4324.190 (Official Build) (64-bit)):

One thing I found interesting was that in Firefox there is a visible scroll bar, where as in Edge & Chrome (on either device), not so much. FWIW, I updated Chrome (on the gaming laptop) to the latest stable release - Version 89.0.4389.82 (Official Build) (64-bit) - and it still worked.

Interestingly... Chrome (on the Chromebook) showed as 'up to date' when I checked the version # earlier, but when I went back and 'forced' an update check, it updated to Version 88.0.4324.208 (Official Build) (64-bit). The 'stable' branch on the Chromebook tends to run a tad behind the pure browser version at times, mainly because it affects *everything*.

But you can scroll? So in summary we have
  • Chromebook
    • Chrome: No scrollbar, scrolling not possible
  • Regular laptop
    • Chrome: No scrollbar, scrolling is possible
    • Edge: No scrollbar, scrolling is possible
    • Firefox: Scrollbar and scrolling is possible
?

On my desktop I get scrollbars and I can scroll in all three browers:
  • Firefox 86.0 (64-bit)
  • Edge 89.0.774.48 (Official build) (64-bit)
  • Chrome 89.0.4389.82 (Official build) (64-bit)
Does your chromebook have a touchscreen? There are some special cases with touch screens where our GUI framework decides to not make scroll bars. Could you maybe try to change your user agent with some Chrome extension?

FWIW... I did try some user-agent extensions to switch up what browser it 'looks' like I'm using... no change.

Another approach might be to try around with "touch" settings in chrome://flags/

We're looking into this. The problem seems to have its origin relatively deep in our GUI framework (Ext JS), so it might take a bit, unfortunately.
