Ben playing with proxmox briefly while waiting for my memory (DDR2 rather than grey matter) to arrive and have had some problems with Firefox 3.0 and running the VNC viewer where Firefox seems to crash. Has anyone got Firefox 3 working? it does work for the management site it's just the vnc viewer.

As FYI although it is not listed as compatible on the managment I can confirm that Opera 9.51 seems to work, it does prompt you when you run the vnc console that a program is trying to open port 5900 but it does work and in my system its more stable than Firefox 3.0.

IE6/7, Firefox 3 and Opera 9.x works quite good, the most know problem on Firefox is the wrong java-plugin. You need the sun-java6-plugin to run the console.

So what OS do you run, what browser plugin, do you run compiz or other 3d-effects (try disable)?

Firefox 3.0.1 under Vista just brought up the java-based VNC console fine for me on my Proxmox VE server.
