Thanks for reporting this - I managed to reproduce the issue (it should not cause any problems if the VM starts and has a display).
A patch was sent to the pve-devel mailinglist for review:

confirms my suspicion - in any case the patch got applied and the next version of qemu-server should not print this warning anymore

As a workaround in the meantime you can explicitly set the BIOS to SeaBIOS in the VM's Hardwaretab in the GUI (or leave it as it is, if you don't mind the warning)
