Hello,

Maybe it is stated somewhere but I can't seem to find it, so here is my question:

I have a client running an old Proxmox 2.3-13.

I am running Zarafa on a Debian 6 qemu.

I want to schedule a daily zarafa-backup of the mailboxes on an external samba share.

How does vzdump handle mountpoints inside containers/KVM ? Are they simply ignored ?

I certainly do not want the dozens of Gigabytes of the mountpoints included in the snapshot.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Is anyone able to answer my question, please?

Thanks in advance.

This is very easy to test, try and give feedback.

Wow, that was an interesting reply.

Was that ironic or just good old condescension?

Since you're using qemu, the host just backs up disks and vm config, it doesn't see mountpoints as that's on a different level. From the guest OS' point of view: everything "local" (iow. no network mounts, but the entire local disk).
