vz machine dont show its ip in GUI

i see
IP Address:unknown
in the GUI,


And i have to start dhclient on it to get it to connect to network.

if you use venet you will see the iP on the web. if you use veth, you will see 'unknown' (there is no reliable way to determine the IP).

please use venet, veth only if you have special needs.
