VPC/Peer-link and LACP between 2 Nexus 9300v VMs?

Hello,

I am building a home lab, everything is fine except the Nexus VPC setup. It used to work on ESXi 6.5. Unfortunately, I no longer have a working VMware image of the Nexus.
Proxmox does not pass the Nexus 9300v’s LACP and peer-link packets through, neither on OVS nor on the Linux bridge.
What I need is that 2 Nexus 9300v VMs can send and receive Peer-link and possibly LACP packets between them via a virtual bridge.
Would it solve the problem if I put the Intel X550-T2 NIC into SR-IOV mode and assign one VF to each of the Nexus peer-link/VPC ports?

Sinde note: I have tried all the bullshit solutions suggested by ChatGPT and Gemini. Not even close...

I am interested in any hack that won't break my lab. It's not productive though. Thanks!

My setup:
ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI
Ryzen 9 9950x3d
128 GB RAM
2x Samsung 990 pro SSDs
Intel x550-t2 NIC
