Hi all,

I've installed a CentOS 6 and console doesn't work. It just shows this black thing with a cursor and nothing else.

I did everything explained in wiki (http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/OpenVZ_Console) for CentOS but still the same problem.

From the same wiki pages on a Debian installation the instructions worked fine and I was able to use the console without a problem on the same node like CentOS.
Its only the CentOS that doesn't work.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Did you remember this?
Either run "start tty" without rebooting the container, or save the changes and shutdown/start the container via Console.

Hi mir,

When I run the start tty I'm getting the following:

root@client371 [/]# start tty
start: Unknown job: tty

shutdown and start the container via console didn't solve this. When I click the shutdown, it shows part of the process to shutdown the server but then when it boots shows nothing.

Just to add that instructions from wiki working fine for CentOS 5*, it is just the CentOS 6 that doesn't work.
Anyone with a suggestion how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks
