Hello every one,
I hope you all are doing well.

I have a backed up VM that it’s total size is 7.6 TB tried to restore it to a zfs pool with 10 TB available space to use the restore failed and got this error message.
«
new volume ID is "hddpool:vm-101-doudinit" new volume ID is "hddpool:vm-101-disk-0" new volume ID is hddpool:vm-101-disk-1* temporary volume 'hddpool:vm-101-disk-0* sucessfuly removed temporary volume hddpool:vm-101-disk-1' sucessfuly removed

error before or during data restore, some or all disks were not completely restored. VM 101 state is NOT deaned up.

TASK ERROR: zfs error: cannot create 'hddpool/vm-101-disk-2: out of space »

For more information:

Disk-2 is the disk with the most data about 6.xx TB

Could you please help me with that, what are your recommendations or advices on it

Thanks

Hello,
Could anyone help me with that please ? I have extended the storage by 4 TB more and I still get the same error message ! Is there a way check if the hypervisor communicates correctly with the storage pool / disks?

I re-installed the hypervisor then the restore started normally on the same storage space, however I am still interested to know why the hypervisor was not able to see the exact real size of the storage ?

All inputs are welcomed :)

Thanks,
Kamala
