Hello there,

so the problem I'm experiencing is that I recently made an ubuntu VM in my promox, where I already have several VM's running. However after a succesful installation the VM won't boot past the Hard Disk message, as if it can't access it.

It gets stuck trying to boot from the hard disk, which I never experienced before.

I got 2 VM's already running on said hard drive and they are performing just fine. The disk are running on is a LVMThin disk.

I thought that my .iso might be corrupted in some way, thus I created another VM with FreeNas. This VM shows the exact same problem as the Ubuntu VM.

I'm new to Proxmox and recently bought an older server with 2 E5640's and 80 gigs of ram so I'm not that experienced with it.

Hopefully somebody knows!

Interesting similaire here with Linux Mint as I have an empty screen with only "_" cursor blinking after installing the Mint Linux. I'm using the default Promox. There is something Linux don't like so far.
