VM High CPU Usage and Strange Behavior After Backups in Proxmox

Hello,

I’m experiencing several issues with my Proxmox setup and VM backups. Here are the details:

1. Environment:
   • Proxmox VE with multiple Debian VMs.
   • Backups are scheduled daily at 5 AM using the "stop" mode.
2. Problem:
   • After backups, approximately one in four VMs exhibit strange behaviors:
     • Constant 50% CPU usage.
     • Services failing to start properly.
     • Unusual log entries in the VM console :
3. Additional Issue:
   • One VM is stuck on the GRUB loading screen.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

• Switching to "snapshot" backups instead of "stop" mode.
• Ensuring VM resource allocations are adequate.
