In Proxmox, is it possible to create a VM folder structure like the vm-folders in VMware Vcenter?

You can create multiple pools and sort the VMs into these pools.
But the pools cannot be nested, so there is only one "folder level".

With 8.1 that was made possible to some degree, from the Roadmap:

Support nested pools up to a nesting depth of 3 levels for greater flexibility in structuring VMs and containers (issue 1148).
