I have a physical hardware PC, it has 3 HDMI output.I would like to install 3 virtual machine and 2 VM to display at HDMIs.

If the GPU is PCIe type, I do find some information on how to set this up.

But since I am using iGPU by Intel, I couldn't find any information. I hope someone can help me.

It‘s a little bit complicated to passthrough iGPUs. Beside that you can passthrough one GPU only once, not twice.

If you want to share an Intel integrated graphics with more than one VM at the same time, you need to use mediated passthrough: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/PCI(e)_Passthrough#_mediated_devices_vgpu_gvt_g But that does not support display output like HDMI unfortunately.

EDIT: It you want to pass through the iGPU to one VM at a time, then search this forum for the model/name of the iGPU that you have for threads about success and about issues or impossibilities.

I searched for my Intel 650 (which is in the i5-9500 on the Dell Optiplex I use for Proxmox) and I can't find any information on how to pass a Windows VM to the HDMI output connector of the host. The examples are all related to Ubuntu VMs. Isa Windows VM unsupported for this type of thing?

I think iGPU acts just like usual PCI device, can you show Resource Mappings tab?

Short answer is : it's possible to pass through iGPU and use it as dedicated gpu for the VM. But iGPU passthrough requires more work. Because normally there are lots of other things hanging on the iGPU group :(
I have got it working on Ryzen, but haven't tried Intel yet.

If I were you, I would install the host on windows and then create VM by vmware workstation instead. This way you can have a dedicated HDMI output for windows and install nested proxmox or others without issues.

I've read some people say that a discrete GPU is easier for passthrough. I wonder if I can find a low power video card to handle this situation? I have a PCIe X16 gen3 slot and a X4 slot. Is there a list somewhere of cards that might be compatible with Proxmox for this?
