I have passed through USB ports to my VM. When I unplug a device from these ports, VM freezes, VM stats keep loading forever and I can't stop it. I must kill it manually. It worked fine on PVE 6.1 This started happening after I upgraded.

Any news on this? I'm stuck on version v6.0 due to that. Newer versions are unusable if you have USB passthrough.

Today i upgraded pve-qemu-kvm to version 5.1.0-1 and did try to get the bug several times but the VM didn't freeze.

Maybe is the bug fixed, others need to try.

The changelog for this qemu version don't have any changes. https://wiki.qemu.org/ChangeLog/5.1#USB

Please upgrade to the latest Proxmox version. You are running 6.2-4 instead of 6.2-11 (or later) in which this problem was resolved.
I managed to solve removing all port-based USB passing and I left only the vendor/device passing. In this way, I managed to solve this crash, but I'm still having crashes so I will open a new thread.
