Hello,
I want to move several VMs from a Proxmox 5.4-15 server to a Proxmox 6.3-3 server.
Procedure :
- VM stopped
- created a backup of VM
- copied backup to Proxmox 6.3-3 server to /var/lib/vz/dump
- created the VM on the new Proxmox 6.3-3 serverxmox 6.3-3 server with qmrestore
- When trying to start the VM, the console displays:
error: disk 'lvmid/h7PJQA-GR59....' not found.
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue>

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this error?

Best Regards

Can you post your VM config ('qm config <vmid>' or '/etc/pve/qemu-server/<vmid>.conf')?

Note that if your VM needs multiple drives to boot, they now all need to be marked 'bootable' (i.e. selected) in the bootorder.
