VM Backup proxmox 4 to 6

Hello!

I would like to ask a short question. I am planning to upgrade my system proxmox 4 to 6.
I am before the decision new installation vs upgrade from 4 to 5 and 5 to 6.
In case i do a new installation, would it be possible to import my proxmox 4 backups to the new proxmox 6 Installation?

yes, backups are compatible both for containers and VMs.
