Virtual Appliance-page doesn't update

Hi all,

I've a couple of Proxmox servers running, but somehow the page of Virtual Appliances doesn't update correctly.

I found on the website that many new appliances are available (like Eyeos), but didn't found them on the download-page (apl/download.htm).

Already tried to force pveam by "pveam update", but the download-page remains the same.

What am I missing here?

Logon to the Proxmox console and issue the following commands:

pveam update
cd /var/lib/pve-manager/
wget [URL]http://www.sacollege.net/files/apm-available[/URL]

Each day execute:

cat /var/lib/pve-manager/apm-available >> /var/lib/pve-manager/apl-available

Each day, a pveam update occurs and the changes above get overwritten. A perl file in the pve-manager needs to be examined and edited to achieve this automatically.

The BlueOnyx template will have to be manually downloaded from the wiki page as it does not follow the standard naming convention.

The Nerd Vittles Article also shows this workaround.

Those appliances are not provided by proxmox - you need to download the manually.

Thanks dietmar and apmuthu, I'll manually download for now, most quickest way of solving this.

pveam update do properly its job except for 64 bits version, of system directory
if I check the /var/lib/pve-manager/apl-available file it don't include for example

yes, 64-templates are not integrated yet.

template page is not updating for cyan web! ie the new 1.8 version - cyan website says use this (appliance template page) for update!?

we will release a new cyan appliance in one week. in the meantime, you can use the old one and run apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.
