"viostor" or "vioscsi" Driver for Windows-7-64 ?

Hi,

i instaled a fresh Windows-7-64 on a Proxmox-3.3 Server.

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Windows_Virtio_Drivers offers two Drivers for Windows:

• viostor/: Virtio Block driver

• vioscsi/: Virtio SCSI driver

Which one should i use?
And what is the Difference?

the difference between these two drivers is the following:
viostor (or virtio-blk): it is a basic block driver for the virtio disks
it is simple, but lacks some features

vioscsi (or virtio-scsi): it implements the scsi commands for the virtio disks
some features work only with this, for example discard

in general, i would rather use virtio-scsi (although redhat claims some performance loss)

The attached disks in Win10 only show up when the vioscsi driver is loaded. viostor doesn't work. The tutorials may have to be updated if this is the updated way to install Win10 https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Windows_VirtIO_Drivers and https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Windows_10_guest_best_practices.

Details of my environment:
1. Proxmox 5.4-6
2. Windows 10 installed with 2 attached NFS disks
3. Loaded drivers from virtio-win-0.1.141.iso

I recommend to use latest drivers:
https://fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virtio-win/direct-downloads/latest-virtio/

virtio and virtio-scsi are known to work with win10 (virtio-scsi is recommended).
