Very slow iperf speeds (~370Mbps) with proxmox host 10Gbps NIC

btw, iperf3 between pve host and alpine container is about here (while NICs are 1Gbits/s) :
32 Gbits/s on Xeon 4210
18 Gbits/s (-R 26 Gbits/s) on EPYC 7302P
16 Gbits/s on E5-2620 v2
65 Gbits/s on i5-8600K !
45 Gbits/s on i7-6700HQ (laptop)
40 Gbits/s on E3-1220 v3
edit: add some another test
Amazing, how did you manage to get this results ?
i have 10 Gb nic and get only 3 Gb/s

Did you already try jumboframes? Switching from 1500 to 9000 MTU increased my 10Gbit NICs performance from 3-4G to 10G. Less but bigger packets, so more throughput if your CPUs performance is the bottleneck.

I have set all nic, bond and vmbr to 9000 mtu, even with this my win 11 vm performance is still at 3 Gb/s
iperf3 from ct to ct hits the max of my nic 9.4 Gb/s
same from host to ct

The only one is win 11 vm with horrible speed

nothing done. except kernel mitigations=off but I don't think is revelant.
It is direct transfer : same local subnet, no NAT or firewall and with CT/LXCs, within VM it's slower.

My config is quite simple
1 node
2 CT with linux ubuntu 22.04 template
1 VM with Win11 Pro
no NAT, Firewall disable, same VMBR, same subnet.
1 fiber NIC card in the VMBR config

My speed is still limited to 10 Gb/s CT <-> CT (fiber nic speed)
CT <-> Win11 3Gb/s
Host <-> CT 9.4 Gb/s
Host <-> Win11 4 Gb/s

My PC with 10 Gb/s nic and a microtik switch
My PC <-> CT 7 Gb/s
My PC <-> Win11 3 Gb/s

The speed issue for the Win11 VM is the sam if i create a Server2022 VM.
I suppose something is wrong with virtuo driver :oops:

Can you post your net config ?

I have the same problem. Still trying to find the solution.
Try not to use Linux Bridge and run iperf again.

Upd. The problem was in my main router, not in proxmox.
And what was the solution for it ? I have same problem. In my case iperf show 1.0 Gb From NAS but 3.0 Gb To NAS
