Verständnisfrage: Backups auf USB Stick verbraucht local Speicherplatz

Warum verbrauchen die auf dem USB Stick (/media/sdb1) abgelegnten Backups Speicherlatz von dem local Storage (var/lib/vz), obwohl sie sich dort nicht befinden?

Es wäre schön, wenn Du mir weiterhelfen könntest:
 
es ist nichts auf /media/sdb1 gemountet, daher wird es einfach auf die root disk geschrieben...
 
Vielen Dank für die schnelle Hilfe. Die war dringend notwendig, weil ich ja somit keine Backups extern hatte.
