I for a long while have used a setup where I backup one node at a time to keep loading down some on the NAS. The problem is if you move a VM from say Node 1 to Node 2, you have to adjust the backup to add it on Node 2. As the backup function only seems to offer to backup VM's that that are currently on that node.
So now enter VE 9.2 with dynamic balancing of the VM's across the nodes, which sounds super. So my question becomes, if I am going to enable this new feature, how do I make sure my VM's get backed up each night regardless of the node they are currently on? As it seems like if I move a VM to a different node, it does a full backup again vs an incremental.
I am sure I am probably just missing something obvious, but happy for any pointers or suggestions..
