USB Passthrough Failing

Hello,
I am trying to connect a USB speakerphone to my HASSIO running in a VM in my Promox 8.2.4.

However, it could not be detected as it is not appearing in the dropdown of the hardware of the VM.

It is also not detected in lsusb


Does anybody know what could be missing here?

Could be an incompatibility between the USB chip, the Linux USB drivers and/or the device. With some USB issues, it helps to put a (powered) USB hub in between (but no guarantee).
Any messages in journalctl from around the time you plugged in the device? That might give an indication about what the problem might be: bandwidth, power, communication problems, etc.
