Hi,

I have installed the latest Proxmox via apt-get like so: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_Jessie

Then I bought a subscription key and successfully entered it in the web gui.

1.) I'd like to be able to upgrade all the distribution packages via apt-get update && apt-get upgrade, but this fails: W: Failed to fetch https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/dists/jessie/pve-enterprise/binary-amd64/Packages HttpError401

2.) I expect some packages from the enterprise repository to be different from the "
jessie pve-no-subscription" repository I had to install with. How can I upgrade those?

Thanks!

You are right, obviously 1) was a timing problem, even if I waited probably 30min when I tried it last. But it works this morning.

How do I exchange the packages from the "jessie pve-no-subscription" repository with the enterprise ones? Currently apt-get says: "0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded." without any errors.

You don't need to - packages from pve-no-subscription are newer, but less tested. If no issues arise, they are moved to pve-enterprise (which is thus more stable). So if you had an uptodate pve-no-subscription install before switching repositories, you won't see updates from pve-enterprise for a little while, because you are in fact ahead of pve-enterprise ;)
