Hello all and Happy Friday!

I am still on the fence with 7.2 trying to avoid trouble.

Can people with positive and negative upgrade experiences reply with comments so others can benefit here?

Thx

If you read the new thread of the last 2 days you will see both. If you don't need a specific feature I would just wait some weeks until the biggest new bugs are fixed as you can't easily downgrade (except for the kernel) if something isn't working.

Here everything was working fine even with my PCI passthrough, ZFS, LUKS encrypted LVM-Thin ontop of mdadm raid, PVE ontop of Debian Bullseye, Linux/Unix/Win guests and so on.

How did you downgrade the kernel? (via BIOS boot step?)

Thx for the info!
PVE always keeps some older kernels and you can manually choose which to use when booting into Proxmox. And with PVE7.2 kernel pinning was added. So you can pin a kernel using the CLI and PVE will always boot into that pinned kernel.

Interesting, never used it.
Can you paste a command line example here for dummy, pls?

I have upgraded one node and with the kernel v5.15 the ssd are not accesible, I've reverted to the previous kernel (v5.13) and works.
