Hello,
I just installed Proxmox Mail Gateway and during testing, I am unable to whitelist or blacklist any email address or domain through User Blacklist or User Whitelist section.

I see this error -

Parameter verification failed. (400)
pmail: parameter required with role 'root'

I am logged in as root.

Version details -

# pmgversion -v
proxmox-mailgateway: 5.1-1 (API: 5.1-3/529c5439, running kernel: 4.15.18-7-pve)
pmg-api: 5.1-3

Oh, seems you use the user blacklist/whitelist configuration at "Administartion User Blacklist/Whitelist"?

Those setting are per "User", so you need to enter an email address.

Please use the rule system for global Black/whitelist (Mail Filter/Rules/Blacklist, ..)

are you logged in the quarantine interface? if yes please use the admin interface instead

Hi tom,

what does it mean "works here"?

I'm also logged in as "root". But I get the same error like ishan:

Parameter verification failed. (400)
pmail: parameter required with role 'root

I'm running on version 6.0.6 with a valid subscription.

Best regards,

Alex

Hi,

same problem for me. I'm using no licensed version for testing purpose before to buy.

These are the info required

root@mx:~# pmgversion -v
proxmox-mailgateway-container: 6.1-1 (API: 6.1-3/1975aa1f, running kernel: 5.0.21-5-pve)
pmg-api: 6.1-3
pmg-gui: 2.1-4
libarchive-perl: 3.3.3-1
libjs-extjs: 6.0.1-10
libjs-framework7: 4.4.7-1
libpve-apiclient-perl: 3.0-2
libpve-common-perl: 6.0-9
libpve-http-server-perl: 3.0-3
libxdgmime-perl: 0.01-5
lvm2: not correctly installed
pmg-docs: 6.1-2
proxmox-mini-journalreader: 1.1-1
proxmox-spamassassin: 3.4.2-13
proxmox-widget-toolkit: 2.1-1
pve-xtermjs: 3.13.2-1

For your info, PMG is running under a LXC container of PVE .

Regards
Pasquale

Please open a new thread and provide detailed info on which place you see the issues, provide a screenshot.

You need to have mails in quarantine, and then you put there destination (your) mail, not the source, and it will work.

All clear now. But ... if instead to write only "Email" there is write "Select an user Email to associate" maybe it's more clear.

Thanks again
Pasquale
