https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-ve-7-2-wont-install-on-rx-6500xt-12600kf.110910/Looks like (the Linux kernel of) the installer does not support your AMD GPU (yet). You could try the Debian installer and install Proxmox on top of it.
There are lots of threads about problems with the installer on this forum; maybe one of them can provide a work-around.
If your AMD GPU model is "too new", then it will probably work in the next version of Proxmox. An older version also won't work because it also won't have the Linux kernel/drivers for the new GPU.https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-ve-7-2-wont-install-on-rx-6500xt-12600kf.110910/
Is using a older version a way around it? Is the problem ever going to be fixed on newer updates?
I don't see how this is related to getting Proxmox installed. This also seems to be another way, but I assume you'd need an intel processor for it to work. I'm running a amd cpu and gpu.

It's relatively new: 6400xt. How often do they release updates? If your AMD GPU model is "too new", then it will probably work in the next version of Proxmox. An older version also won't work because it also won't have the Linux kernel/drivers for the new GPU.
