Hello,

I'm trying to install Proxmox 7.3 using the Proxmox install ISO file onto my HPE Gen10 microserver, however, I'm having difficulties.

Firstly, if I use a HP Smart Array logical volume I can get Proxmox installed but then the server doesn't boot as it says the volume is not a boot volume. So I removed the array and switched to SATA controller which then lists both my disks as separate but now when I try to install Proxmox I get an error after the config steps (password, networking etc) stating "unable to initialize physical volume dev/sda3" so it's not even installing.

This worked perfectly fine on my older HPE Gen8 microserver, however, the CPU on that is not powerful enough to run some containers that I need to run for video transcoding.

Has anyone got it to successfully install onto these servers, and if so please can you advise what steps I need to take to complete this?

I have one disk in the HPE Proliant Microserver gen10, and it cant detect the disk during installation, i have seen that you need to pass thru grub parameters, but I dont know how thats done, any further guidance much appreciated, thanks.
