unable to install grub in clean CentOS6 install: grub> Device vda2 not found

I have installed a CentOS 6 x86_64 bits, in Proxmox 3.4, hd 10 Giga Raw
I am using
CentOS-6.6-x86_64-minimal.iso


Installation went smooth but after reboot does not boot;
here it is the screen shot before rebooting, taken with Ctrl-Alt-F5
grub> Device vda2 not found

Hi,
does it work, if you use ide instead of virtio during the installation?
After installation you can simple change to virtio.
