unable to apply VM settings, command failed... - after reboot

I did a reboot (proxmox 1.9) and now I am not able to start just one virt-Server (sme8b7), the other machines are working.

Fehler: unable to apply VM settings, command failed: /usr/sbin/qm set 105 --localtime  --freeze 0 --acpi 1 --kvm 1 --startdate  --bootdisk scsi0 --boot cd --vga  --cpuunits 1000

The bootscreen says:

VM is locked (backup)

How can / should I debug this error ?

the backup locks the VM and unlocks it after the backup was successful. looks like the backup does not finish, so you need to unlock it manually.

qm unlock VMID
