[SOLVED] Unable To Add PBS As Storage

I am wanting to try out PBS but I cannot connect it. Whatever settings I use I get a connection error. I installed a Let's Encrypt SSL so I am not using a fingerprint. I can log in to the GUI fine without any errors and I can SSH to the server.

I have tried using the servers IP to add the storage and the hostname I have configured with no luck. > http://prntscr.com/1294y2f Any settings I use produce a "
Connection error - server offline?" error.

Can anyone provide some ideas on what I can do to check this

hi,

can you reach the PBS from PVE? for example if you do a curl https://your.pbs.ip.here:8007 from the PVE server do you get a response?

I managed to add the PBS server in the end. I created a user and used that instead of root.
