Hello I am mostly new to proxmox and am having an issue, ultimately what i want is to have my offsite backup server connected via VPN as a storage option i currently have a tailscale/headscale network setup successfully. the issue i am having is i have approached this with two different solutions installing tailscale in a LXC container which did not work as for reasons i cant understand the proxmox host can not communicate with anything on the tailnet, this led me to install tailscale on the host directly i am then able to attach my offsite storage however i lose access to the proxmox GUI via its local IP address and can only access it through the tailscale network IP. after speding days searching the internet i found that if i turn off accepting routes in tailscale on the host i can access the GUI through local IP and the host is on the tailscale network but i dont have access to by offsite NAS that is advertised through the routes, some speculate that this is because the route that the proxmox host is on is being advertised and proxmox has an issue with this.
