All,

I have a strange issue showing up after upgrading to Proxmox 7.3.4. I have a Dell poweredge R720 With a Perch H810 controller card flashed in IT mode. It is connected to an external 24 bay Dell powervault MD1220. For some reason when I plug in a single sas 2.5" hard drive under proxmox it lists the same hard drive twice. I can't figure out why it is doing this, since there is only 1 physical hard drive plugged in at the moment for testing purposes.

In the picture attached you will see Two entries of devices /dev/sdh and /dev/sdi both 300gb with the same model number and serial number. And this is only one physical hard drive. I am very confused why it is showing up twice?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Seems like you have two ways to your sas-dual-channel ssd? Did you configure multipath? Never tried especially not under PVE: https://tweenpath.net/install-multipath-debian-server/
