I have a minsoforum ms-01 i9-13th gen and I plan to get another ms-01 but i9-12th gen as a secondary node. I use ZFS and I am trying to achieve extra head room along with zfs replicaton/HA. I know I need a third node to achieve quorum. So...

I have another mini pc N5105 laying around but different ssd/nvme disk hardware configuration. It is currently setup with pve on lvm-thin.
- Is it beneficial to add this odd node to the cluster above as a pve while the hardware is so different?
-can I add node with lvm to a zfs cluster?
-any other suggestions to use this this node/device? I have plenty of pie's to use as a Qdevice.

Well, it is a third node. And while it can not handle the high load of your MS-01 it may take some containers or light-weight VMs.

can I add node with lvm to a zfs cluster?
Sure! There is no limit in this aspect.

any other suggestions to use this this node/device? I have plenty of pie's to use as a Qdevice.
I would think about using the N5105 as a separate, not-cluster-integrated PBS. If this PBS would run continuously then it can implement the required Quorum Device. If this PBS would only run occasionally you may use that Raspberry for this.
