Transports: single email addresses

The documentation reads:
You can add the IP addresses, hostname, transport protocol (smtp/lmtp), transport ports and mail domains (or just single email addresses) of your additional email servers.

How do I set this up, when I set an email address in the Host field I get an error: host: invalid format - value does not look like a valid address

you need to enter the email address as "relayed domain", not as "host".
