template Debian Jessie not working

Hello,

I have a problem (may be a network configuration problem) when I deploy Debian 8 template : (http://download.openvz.org/template/precreated/debian-8.0-x86_64.tar.gz) on my proxmox 2.X.

I download and I put to the host system's /vz/template/cache directory - done
I create a new CT and I choose the Debian 8 template - done
I define the configuration de my container (CPU, Disk, IP) - done
I start the VM - done


But i can't connecte to on my VM with ssh connexion

I can't ping the IP VM ...

With Debian 7 it's OK.

I have the same problem with ubuntu 15.4 version


any idea ?

you run still 2.x? very outdated - upgrade to latest first.

Same problem with proxmox 3.4-9
Is there a compatibility issue with systemd ?

Try the Proxmox template for Jessie (not using systemd).
